The outfit I've chosen that tells a story is this one, worn on my last day in Dorset after the first lockdown last year. It's significant because it signified the day before my partner of six years and I would move in together - the first time we had ever done so.
Each piece of the outfit was also part of our story together; the tracksuit bottoms, ripped on the knee from years of use, were bought from Sweaty Betty when I was 20 (6 years ago), shortly after we'd started dating. I had a voucher for the shop and remember being so excited to be able to afford clothes that fit really well, and were well made. Still, they cost a lot of money, and it took days chatting to friends and trying them on multiple times to decide whether I should buy them. I've barely taken them off since then.
The top was a more recent acquisition from Icebreaker, part of my desire to move away from synthetic fibres and towards natural fibres using regenerative agriculture. As I was away from most of my wardrobe for lockdown, I've got significant wear out of it in the year that I've owned it, but it's looking good as new!
The jumper is my boyfriend's, though I think I wear it more than he does. The boots are from Palladium, and I got them when I was looking for a gift for my boyfriend - I'm not a very good present shopper, clearly!
We had a lovely walk along the beach on our last day. It's one of my favourite places on earth, so it was great to capture these photos
